The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) announced the official integration of its blockchain ecosystem into the Samsung Blockchain Keystore on July 15. This integration is intended to provide a solution for Stellar’s end users to store their private keys on selected Galaxy smartphones.

According to the announcement, developers in Stellar’s ecosystem will be able to create blockchain-related applications and services for Samsung Galaxy smartphone owners.

Denelle Dixon, CEO and executive director of the Stellar Development Foundation, commented on the partnership with Samsung:

Chinese Power Provider Deploys Blockchain Node in State Network
Samsung smartphones that are eligible for this integration include the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Fold and Galaxy S10 series.
Cointelegraph reported in May, that SDF invested another USD 550,000, paid in XLM, in the Berlin-based instant payment platform, SatoshiPay.
The Foundation’s third investment in SatoshiPay brings the Enterprise Fund’s investments during the year to a total of USD 6.3 million.
